The National Basketball Association also known as NBA is the main basketball league in the world. It was founded in 1946 as the Basketball Association of America (BAA), and the league was renamed the NBA in 1949 after merging with the National Basketball League (NBL). The NBA is part of one of the four major professional leagues in American sports along with ice hockey: NHL, baseball: MLB and
American soccer NFL. Since 2015, the NBA is the sports league where athletes are the highest paid in the world. In 2020 the average salary of an NBA player is estimated at $7.4 million per year. It is from the 1980s that the league is gradually popularized internationally with the arrival of players like Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and especially "His Airness" Michael Jordan who is considered one of the greatest basketball champions of all time. Nowadays, the NBA is considered to be the most prestigious and highest level basketball championship in the world.
This championship is composed of 30 teams divided into two conferences: the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. After a regular season of 82 games, the top eight teams in each conference compete in the playoffs. As for the Finals, they oppose the best team of each Conference and it is the team that manages to win four games first that becomes the lucky NBA champion. Currently the most successful teams are the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers with 17 titles.

POP collection NBA has 211 figures 🎉. The first figurine of the collection came out in January 2012, it was the one of Jeremy Lin (Knicks) while the last figurine put on sale by Funko for this series is SLAM : Jalen Brunson (which came out in May 2024). This franchise, under the licence of NBA doesn't include (yet) any chase figure. Please note that this franchise has multipacks (several action figures sold together).
