Wave of NBA Funko POP Magazine Covers

Inaugurated a few months ago by Funko, fans of basketball and the iconic NBA had the pleasant surprise of discovering POPs that feature the covers of SLAM magazine dedicated to basketball.

Funko had unveiled three first POPs (of Allen Iverson, Shaquille O'Neal and Dwayne Wade) and just announced 5 new players in this set. For the occasion, here are the covers (and players) that join the set:

• Ray Allen
• Tim Duncan
• Jason WIlliams
• Shawn Kemp
• Tracy McGrady

Reproducing the magazine covers, the players are shown in some pretty funny poses, and different from the way Funko usually presents basketball players. For example, Duncan is comfortably seated in a chair while Kemp is shown jumping under the headline "Kemp Fly". Allen and McGrady's POPs are more sober, with the players shown standing and holding the ball in their hands. Finally Jason Williams is sitting on a stool.
