The Hawkeye mini-series focuses on one of the Avengers who took on Thanos. The story takes place well after the events against Thanos, and unlike the other series, is not intended to revisit the origins of Clint Barton aka Hawkeye - although we do learn a little more about his past as a Ronin.
The Hawkeye series focuses on a passage in Clint's life when he meets young Kate Bishop. Clint Barton's past catches up with him when Kate gets hold of the old Ronin costume, a costume that's going to get him into a lot of trouble... It's Kate who's at the center of the plot throughout the series.
Released in November 2021, the series features 6 episodes in which Hawkeye must return to duty to help Kate get out of the trouble caused by the suit. But they'll have to face unexpected enemies, starting with Maya Lopez (Echo), who wants to avenge the death of her father killed by the Ronin, and Yelena, who wants to avenge the death of Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), convinced that Hawkeye is the culprit...
Between the vengeance of some, the mystery surrounding Kate's stepfather and the series' well-placed humor, the episodes follow one another at a frenetic pace. Funko has managed to immortalize some of the episodes with POP figures of the characters.
