POP Dragon Shiryu (Saint Seiya)

Shiryu is one of the main characters of the anime series and the manga Saint Seiya written and drawn by Masami Kurumada. He is one of the 48 Bronze Knights in the service of the goddess, Athena, more precisely he is the Bronze Knight of the Dragon.

Shiryu is a young boy for whom there is nothing more important than justice, he is able to put his life at stake without hesitation to defend what he considers right, considering it even more important than love. He is a calm and thoughtful knight, the wisest among the 5 Bronze Knights, a wisdom that he acquired during his trip to China. Nevertheless, at the beginning, the young man was very arrogant like all the other Bronze Knights who had just received their armor. Indeed, they were all convinced that they had become the strongest men in the world. Shiryu, on the other hand, relied a lot on his skills and his armor which made him very proud and proud. However his attitude changes after his defeat by Seiya, learning what humility was. It is besides this fight which allowed Shiryu to weave bonds of friendship with Seiya.

Before becoming a Dragon Knight, Shiryu was, like his comrades Seiya, Ikki, Hyoga and Shun, one of the 100 orphans of the Graad Foundation sent to the four corners of the world to recover an armor and thus become a knight. It is after six years of training that Shiryu returns to Japan with the Dragon Armor, which he won by reversing the current of the Rozan waterfall in China.

A Knight of the Dragon, his armor is one of the strongest in the Knighthood, and is known for its indestructible shield and right fist. Shiryu is a powerful fighter who possesses a Water-type Cosmos. He also knows how to use the Seventh Sense, which allows him to fight at an incredible speed, and the Eighth Sense, which is a testament to his talent and strength as a Bronze Knight. His ultimate technique, which he considers to be an invincible technique, is called "Rozan Shô Ryû Ha". It is an extremely powerful technique in which he concentrates his Cosmos to the maximum and then, releases this energy comparable to a dragon that awakens, allowing him to give a powerful uppercut to his opponent, which propels him violently in the air.

Through this POP figure, Funko represents the Bronze Knight of the Dragon, Shiryu. He is dressed in a purple jumpsuit on which he wears his green armor covering his upper body, his forearms and his feet. Shiryu wears a green crown on his forehead, showing his long and beautiful black hair, in which there are golden horns reminding that he is the Dragon Knight. He is equipped with the famous Dragon Shield on his left arm which is known to be the strongest shield in the world giving a defensive posture to this figure.
