POP Pegasus Seiya (Saint Seiya)

Pegasus Seiya, also known as Pegasus, the slayer of gods, is the main character of the anime series and manga Saint Seiya. He is one of the 48 Bronze Saints (Knights of Bronze) and a member of the 88 Saints whose mission is to protect the goddess Athena. Seiya is a Bronze Knight of the constellation of Pegasus.

Before becoming a Bronze Knight, Seiya was one of the 100 children sent by Mitsumasa Kido around the world to become knights. He trained with Aguila Marin for almost 6 years to become a knight. Throughout his adventure, Seiya's objectives change, at the beginning his only goal is to find his sister Seika. Indeed, he was separated from her when he was very young by Mitsumasa so that he could become a knight. Then Seiya ends up becoming a fervent defender of Athena and also of the Earth when the latter is attacked.

Seiya is the youngest of the five main Bronze Knights, and among them he feels quite close to Shiryu of the Dragon, certainly due to their fight from the beginning of the anime series. He is also very close to Athena. As for his personality, he is a stubborn boy, irresponsible and impulsive at times, he often tends to attack his enemies in a rash way. However, one of the things that characterizes him the most is that he has a strong will, always ready to go forward, he never gives up. Seiya is a very loyal friend who can be counted on, always ready to fight to defend his friends. He cares more than anything about his friends and doesn't hesitate to risk his life without even thinking, even if it means going beyond his limits. This is often the case when it comes to protecting Saori, the reincarnation of Athena, for whom he seems to feel more than friendship.

Seiya is a very talented fighter with superhuman physical skills. He is an expert in martial arts. He knows how to use the Seventh Sense which allows him to fight at an incredible speed, close to the speed of light and the Eighth Sense which allows him to keep his will in the Underworld. He also has several techniques related to his constellation, such as his ultimate technique called "Comet Fist of Pegasus" which allows him to merge all his meteors to create a comet which makes the blow even more powerful.

On this POP figure, Funko presents Seiya the fearsome Bronze Knight of the constellation Pegasus. Seiya is wearing a red jumpsuit over which he is equipped with his silver-blue armor covering his torso, shoulders, hands and feet. He wears a crown around his head, letting his spiky brown hair stick out, in the same color as his armor with the effigy of Pegasus the mythical winged horse. Seiya's posture on this POP figure shows that he is ready to pounce to attack his enemies, with a determined look, with his fists clenched and his legs bent around which his energy aura is released.
