POP Phoenix Ikki (Saint Seiya)

Ikki of the Phoenix is one of the main characters of the manga and the anime series Saint Seiya. He is a member of the 48 Bronze Knights in the service of the goddess, Athena, more precisely the Knight of the Phoenix. Before becoming the Knight of the Phoenix, was part of the 100 orphans of the Graad Foundation sent to the four corners of the world to recover an armor and become a knight. Being very close to his little brother Shun, and wanting to protect him at all costs, he took Shun's place when he had to leave for Death Queen Island. Indeed, for Ikki, this island was much too dangerous for his beloved little brother. It is after 6 years of training that Ikki returns to Japan with the Phoenix Armor. However, his training on this island changed him completely, he became leader of the Black Knights, enemy of the Bronze Knights. It was during his stay on the island of the Dead Queen that he changed radically. His master named Guilty only taught him what hatred was, he did not hesitate to kill his own daughter who was in love with Ikki, so that the latter could increase his hatred tenfold. When Ikki learned this terrible news, he killed his master. Nevertheless, it is after a confrontation against Seiya, helped by Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun that Ikki becomes again little by little as before and repents by joining his little brother and by pledging allegiance to Athena.

Ikki is still an arrogant knight like all the other Bronze Knights. He is the most tormented of the five main knights, with all that he has lived through, which is why he is also the hardest of them, sometimes showing no mercy to his opponents. This Knight of the Phoenix is also known as the most powerful bronze knight thanks to his resurrection power. Moreover, Ikki knows how to use the Seventh Sense allowing him to perform extraordinary feats, far from those of a simple knight, like fighting or moving at the speed of light. He also masters the Eighth Sense allowing him to transcend the concept between life and death. Finally, Ikki has several techniques created from his Phoenix armor. The technique he likes the most is called: "Hō Yoku Tenshō" or also called "Phoenix Wings", it is the most powerful technique of his panel, in which his fist projects a powerful and destructive breath, capable of destroying the armors of his opponents and killing them.
