POP Mangalore (The Fifth Element)

Even if The Fifth Element has the most perfect evil incarnation in its film with the appearance of the Evil himself, this one taking the form of a dark and threatening sun lodged in the confines of the universe, the film, however, will rest its plot on various antagonists. All shades of evil will be present, including one of the most repulsive with the characters of the Mangalores, playing a crucial role in the film.

As the Mondoshawans return to Earth after 300 years to protect the five elements necessary to destroy Evil, their ship is suddenly attacked without warning. Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg, warned by Evil via radio waves, was ordered to destroy their ship by any means necessary. In order not to be considered responsible, Zorg could not intervene himself, so he called upon mercenaries to whom he entrusted this mission. The mission involved destroying the Mondoshawan ship, but also taking the case containing the four elements.

True to their word, the Mangalores, repulsive and merciless, exterminated the Mondoshawans and brought an empty case back to Zorg. Zorg was incensed, but left them a shipment of his weapons as a "reward. The Mangalores then blew themselves up trying to use them.

One survivor, however, assembled a new team of Mangalores. The Mangalores had a plan to overtake Zorg and go after the stones on their own. Their involvement in the events of the film led them to take an entire ship hostage where the Diva Plavalaguna was to perform. In the process of taking her hostage, they killed her among many others.

Korben Dallas eliminated them one by one. When Zorg later returned to the ship to deactivate his bomb after stumbling upon another empty case, the last Mangalore alive used his last bit of strength to activate his own bomb, eliminating Zorg in the process. Thus disappeared the last representatives of their race while they were in the process of extinction because of their proven dangerousness.

The Funko POP Mangalore figure represents one of the proud mercenaries of their race. In the sense that they all look alike, the Mangalore figure can potentially represent any of them that appeared during the movie. Thus, the Mangalore Funko POP is dressed in a beige jumpsuit - whose design was envisioned by Jean-Paul Gaultier - covering them from throat to toe. Only their faces remain exposed.

Thus, you will be able to observe the face of the POP Mangalore figure, which is more or less greenish and somewhat resembles the face of Yoda. And for good reason, these faces, in addition to being green and crumpled, have long horizontal ears. However, their faces are less pleasant while the Funko POP Mangalore figure shows all the cruelty of the characters.
