POP action figure of Audrey Horne #450
In the town of Twin Peaks, it's hard to know who to trust. Everyone, no matter how friendly they may seem, is a potential suspect. A suspect involved in supernatural affairs that Agent Dale Cooper will seek to unravel the knotty plot. So as he gets to know the community of Twin Peaks, he will become familiar with each resident and one in particular: Audrey Horne.
Audrey Horne is the daughter of the richest man in Twin Peaks, Benjamin Horne, the owner of the Great Nothern Hotel. Benjamin Horne, who, busy with his numerous businesses, neglects his daughter. For as much, this one had then for particularity to have favored Laura Palmer by being suspected to have had an affair with her.
Audrey Horne, then comrade of Laura Palmer, was particularly revolted by this supposed relation. She had a discreet resentment towards her classmate and, of this fact, was naturally suspected - like so many others in Twin Peaks - of having murdered her. However, the suspicions concerning her were very quickly lifted because nothing made it possible to really establish her guilt. Audrey, in fact, has a temperament that is both casual and facetious, even a little mischievous. During the first two seasons of Twin Peaks, she fell in love with Agent Dale Cooper and tried to get into his good graces. Thus, Audrey Thorne became Cooper's most loyal ally in his investigation, even going so far as to put herself in danger at times to help him solve the mystery of Laura Palmer's death. When season 3 came around, Andrey played a very modest role, performing the famous "Audrey's Dance", so mysterious and full of meaning that had to be deciphered.
The Funko POP figure of Audrey Thorne represents her as she was during the events of the first two seasons, that is to say twenty-five years before season 3. The first thing you'll recognize is that the Audrey Thorne POP has a mole above her left eye.
From the way she stands, the Audrey Thorne figure gives her the appearance of a well-educated young girl with her well-brushed hair, red sweater and plaid skirt. But there is a rebellious aspect to her posture. Indeed, Audrey Thorne is represented holding a cigarette in her right hand, her gaze plunged straight ahead, provocative. We can guess that she is serious while the Funko POP figurine representing Audrey Thorne contrasts with her air of candid young girl.
No one can indeed remain candid for long in Twin Peaks, where the most supernatural and absurd events take place in an atmosphere of latent terror. In this respect, Audrey Thorne's POP takes a somewhat more adult posture than the one she had at the beginning of the series' events. Such a posture, that one guesses that she matured in contact with the special agent Dale Cooper whose adventures she followed closely.
