My Hero Academia or Boru no Hiro Akademia in Japanese is a shonen manga written and drawn by Kohei Horikoshi. This manga currently in progress includes 30 volumes and has been published since July 2014. It has sold more than 50 million copies at this very moment, which is huge because it is not yet finished unlike other manga in the top sales. Faced with this success, an animated series has been adapted by the famous studio Bones and has been broadcast since June 2016.
In the universe of My Hero Academia, 80% of the world's population has superpowers called "Alters". These alters are a part of everyday life. There are people who use them for the good of others: the heroes and others who use them to commit all sorts of crimes: the villains. The manga follows more particularly the adventures of Izuku Midoriya called also Deku, one of the unlucky humans being part of the 20% of the population having no power. However, his dearest dream is to join the Yuei academy and more precisely the super-heroic course which trains the greatest heroes. He wishes to become a hero, the greatest of all heroes like his lifelong idol All Might, the most powerful and number one hero, adulated by all and feared by all villains. Deku's destiny will be turned upside down the day he meets All Might and learns his terrible secret. The latter will offer him the chance to realize his dream and so begins the adventure of the young boy as an apprentice hero, in pursuit of his dream.
For all the fans of the famous manga My Hero Academia, Funko has reproduced a multitude of POP figures, many of them exclusive. These figures range from iconic superheroes such as the number 1 and 2 heroes: All Might and Endeavor respectively to "badass" super villains such as Dabi or Tomura Shigaraki, passing of course by our dear protagonist Deku in various forms as well as his friends from the same class such as his friend and rival Katsuki Bakugo, Todoroki Shoto and many others.
