Special Baseball POPs for My Hero Academia

The My Hero Academia POP collection is one of the most complete among the POP Animation with no less than 122 figures. If Funko regularly announces new releases, fans appreciate even more the thematic sets like the League of Villains Assemble. For this announcement, it is once again a particular thematic set that Funko is focusing on with a set dedicated to the Hero League Baseball episode!

In this episode, the heroes and students compete in a thrilling baseball championship. A different episode that brings lightness and humor while finding the characters in a new light. Pitting the Orcs of Gang Orca against the Lionels of Shishido, this episode is one of the best moments of the series.

For this announcement, Funko unveiled 5 POP Baseball figures of MHA, from both teams. On the side of the Shishido team we find :

• a POP of Shishido in the orange outfit ;
• a Supersized POP of Mount Lady in the height of the character.
  On the side of the team led by Gang Orca, we discover :
• a POP of Gang Orca with his blue player outfit and striped pants;
• two POP of Fat Gum (in Supersized of course), declined in classic and metallic version.

No doubt that future announcements will follow to complete the teams, it remains to be seen in which order! If Funko completely recreates the baseball game, there will be a total of twelve characters (not counting the special variants).
