Braveheart is the film retracing the adventure of Scottish independence from English occupation in the 13th century. King Edward I of England occupies Scotland and imposes a cruel law. Under this historical background, a simple Scottish peasant will become the leader of the revolt against the occupier.

William Wallace, played by Mel Gibson in the film Braveheart, aspired to a simple life. Although his father and brother were killed by English assailants, Wallace tries to build his family life away from all the struggles and violence engendered by the English.

The trigger for his fight will be the assassination of his wife, whose throat was cut for disrespecting the sheriff, who pretends that disrespecting her is disrespecting the King of England. William Wallace takes revenge by slitting the sheriff's throat and then engaging in a fight with the king.

Edward I mandates his son, the Prince of Wales, to defuse the situation, but Wallace's honor exceeds all the promises of gold and land that will be made to him. William Wallace will fight for justice and the independence of Scotland.

In his fight, between battlefield and political plots, the wife of the Prince of Wales who is Isabelle of France will fall in love with the leader of the rebellion and will confess to her husband that she is carrying William Wallace's child.

Wallace's actions will impose many defeats on the English, but Wallace, betrayed by allies, will be captured, tortured and sentenced to death for treason. To the end of his convictions, the Scottish hero will not beg the King's forgiveness and will claim his freedom!

Funko returns to this great classic of cinema with pop figurines in the effigy of the film Braveheart. If only one character had the honor of being popified, it is of course the main character : William Wallace.
