POP Edward in face mask (Edward Scissorhands)

Edward is the main character in Tim Burton's masterpiece Edward Scissorhands, released in 1990. The story tells the story of a different man's journey, the invention of a mad genius with scissors and blades instead of hands. Since the death of its creator, Edward has lived alone, shut away in his castle overlooking a small town. Until the day Tinka Boggs comes knocking at the castle's door and falls in love with the young man. She takes Edward into her home and tries to integrate him as best she can into the community.

In spite of his differences, Edward gradually finds his place and ends up being appreciated by everyone, turning his differences into an asset to render many services to the neighborhood. He trimmed hedges into works of art, groomed the animals into small mannequins and melted all the women with haircuts they had never seen before.

Edward's new life is turned upside down when he accidentally injures Kim and then Kevin, the children of his foster family ... He is then considered a pariah and hunted down. Kim's ex-boyfriend chases him and the two men engage in a fight. To protect Kim, Edward stabs Jim in the chest with his blade to death. Kim lies to protect him claiming that the two killed each other and that Edward is dead.

This lie prevents Edward from being prosecuted, but he ends his life as he began it: alone in his castle.

On this POP of Edward Scissorhands, we find the young man as Tinka Boggs has just applied beauty cream to his face to conceal its pale colour and mask the cuts Edward accidentally made with his scissors and blades. So she rubs cream on the young man's face and finds that the colour blue suits his style!

On the figurine, Edward is wearing the clothes loaned by Tinka's husband, brown trousers, a white shirt and suspenders. You can still guess the black suit under the clothes. You can recognize Edward perfectly with his black lips, his sad look, his frightened face and his tangled brown hair.
