POP Kim Boggs (Edward Scissorhands)

Kim Boggs is a character in the film Edward Scissorhands. When Kim's mother, Tinka Boggs, decides to knock on the door of the castle overlooking the small town, she discovers Edward and decides to offer him to come and live with their family.

Edward is the product of an inventor who has created a robot that almost perfectly imitates a man. He has a heart, a brain but no hands. Instead of hands, he has scissors and blades. Sadly, Edward's inventor died before completing his creation, leaving Edward "handicapped".

When he arrives in the Boggs family, Edward immediately falls in love with Kim, overwhelmed by her beauty. Edward was kind to everyone, happy to be of service, and even more so when it came to Kim. But she is somewhat frightened by Edward and it will take several months to get closer to the young man.

Kim is nevertheless touched by Edward's kindness and her feelings gradually change. Her boyfriend, Jim, no longer appreciates the relationship between Kim and Edward and provokes the latter, leading Edward to be considered an outcast and to have to flee the society in which he had managed to integrate...

Jim pursues Edward to the castle where he has gone into hiding, determined to get his hands on him. The two men fight and Kim tries to intervene but Jim doesn't hesitate to push her back violently. To protect her, Edward mortally wounds Jim with his blades.

When the townspeople rush to the castle, Kim explains that Jim and Edward have killed each other, leaving Edward to live safely in his castle. The two lovers, who were at odds with each other, will live on in each other's memories.

Funko pays homage to one of the main characters in the film with a POP figurine featuring Kim Boggs. We find Kim in the evening dress she wears for the Christmas party organized by her family. It is on this day that Edward's life is turned upside down and he accidentally wounds Kim in the hand while he is sculpting a beautiful ice statue that makes little snowflakes "snow".

She holds her arm outstretched in admiration of the falling snow as Edward sculpts the ice statue.
