POP Black Canary Boobytrap Battle (Birds of Prey)

Dinah Lance, aka Black Canary, is one of the heroines of the DC Universe who is part of the Birds of Prey quartet in the film retracing the history of Harley Quinn following his separation from the Joker. Dinah was hired as a singer in Roman Sionis's club (also known as the Black Mask) until she took up Harley Quinn's defense and showed her talents in battle. Roman then decides that she will become his driver although Black Canary has only one desire: to escape from the grip of this Gotham mobster.

If she could have left, Black Canary is faced with a case of conscience when she realizes that her boss, Roman Sionis, is looking for a young girl she knows well: Cassandra Cain. Cassandra is a slightly lost teenager who lives in the same building as Black Canary. She survives petty crimes by picking the pockets of passers-by. Unfortunately, her last misdeed is to have stolen a precious stone from the pocket of Zsasz, the right-hand man of Zionis.

Black Canary betrays his boss and tries to protect Cassandra. Despite her independent character, she is forced to ally herself with Harley Quinn, Huntress and detective Montoya while the 4 women are surrounded by Zionis' mercenaries. It is during this epic battle that Black Canary reveals her secret weapon with her ultrasound scream that knocks out many of the Black Mask men!

With this new POP from Birds of Prey, Funko pays tribute to the Black Canary character by representing the young woman during the battle of Boobytrap. We find Black Canary holding in her hand the baseball bat with which she is about to face the mercenaries of Zionis.

We find the young woman, played by the actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell in Birds of Prey, with a dull complexion and blond hair. She wears many jewels around her arms, her neck, in the braids of her hair and even a nose piercing.

Her attitude is determined as she taps the bat in her hand. Bat on which Funko has pushed the detail to the point of keeping the mention "Goodnight"! Finally, Black Canary is dressed in the clothes she wears in the film when she sings or drives Sionis: a mustard-yellow tight top that reveals her black bra and blue jeans surrounded by a golden belt.
