Seb — POP! Figures

One galaxy only, but all of it. That sounds reasonable right up until you start counting the boxes.

If I were…

a license: Star Wars, and there is no second answer. Films, series, animation, games, comics: I take all of it, in in-universe chronological order where possible.

a character: Admiral Ackbar. Barely on screen, one line, and nobody ever forgets him. I respect that kind of career.

a Funko line: Chases. They force you to hunt, and the hunt is part of the fun.

a line of dialogue: "It's a trap!" I use it at work. Rarely appropriately.

a collector's flaw: I count the existing versions of a character before giving an opinion. With Vader, I stopped counting.

What I collect

On my shelves: around two hundred and fifty POPs, all from the same galaxy. The original trilogy first, Return of the Jedi included, then the series, then the supporting characters nobody is asking for.

My buying rule: a character who has never had a figure beats any new pose of a hero already released twenty times.

The one I'm still hunting: the convention exclusives from the early years. They barely circulate, and I'm patient.
