The Italian champion race driver Mario Andretti officially joins the Legends Club. Only the best in their class reach this status and Andretti's record of achievements is not mistaken: he is one of these great champions.

Andretti has competed in many motorsports events, from Formula 1 (World Champion in 1978) to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Nascar and the USAC (3 times champions).

Mario Andretti is also well known for the curse that followed him on the famous Indianapolis 500 Mile race where he had many setbacks for years although he ended up winning this USAC queen event!
