B Real comes to POP with a Dr. Greenthumb figurine

Funko unveils a new POP Rocks featuring Dr. Greenthumb, the character featured in the eponymous single (and video) by Cypress Hill, the Latin American rap group that flooded the airwaves in 1998. For the occasion, Funko makes a perfect nod to the fans by offering a POP of one of the most memorable characters: the crazy doctor named Dr. Greenthumb.

Played by the leader of the band B-Real (real name Louis Freese), Dr Greenthumb is a character of total eccentricity. From his improbable look to his eccentric gestures, he is the cliché of the mad scientist that we can easily imagine on amphetamines since the sound is a tribute to marijuana! The group is completed by Sen Dog and Mellow Man Ace.

Throughout the clip, we discover Dr. Greenthumb in his laboratory with plants that seem quite illegal and creatures just as amazing. Chased by two DEA agents, Dr. Greenthumb alia B Real tells his origins and defends the culture of marijuana using as a metaphor carnivorous plants.
