It's the online event dedicated to the POPs of the music universe. A tribute to the Lollapalooza music festival, it has become the occasion for Funko to unveil a wave of new POP figures featuring singers and bands.
For the 2022 edition of POP!ALooza, Funko has unveiled a total of 22 POP figures, including POP Albums, new bands and singers and also a few nice nods to a purely fictional band that animation fans will particularly appreciate!
Here is a look at all the POPs announced at Pop!APalooza 2022:
First of all, Funko announced several multipacks: Iron Maiden's Glow in the Dark version including the 4 POPs Live After Death, Seventh Son, Night Of The Dead and Somewhere In The Eddie; Pantera band members' multipack (Philip Anselmo, Vinnie Paul, Dimebag Darrell and Rex Brown); The Cure with a multipack of its 5 members Jason Cooper, Reeves Gabrels, Robert Smith, Simon Gallup and Roger O'Donnell; and finally the duo pack of Madrox & Monoxide from Twiztid.
POP!ALooza 2022 continued with POP Albums, the POPs that feature the cover art of the greatest albums. We find Usher and his album 8701, the POP of Build A Babe by Bella Poarch and finally the album Born Again by Notorious B.I.G
A wave of POPs from the group New Kids on the Block with the POPs of Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood but also a multipack with the whole group.
Funko also unveiled some more "classic" POP Rocks that allow us to discover popified singers for the first time like Ronnie James Dio, Dee Snider or Flavor Flav. Funko also proposed a new POP of Bella Poarch (the third without counting the POP Albums) where the singer is dressed in a patchwork.
Finally, the last surprise of the event with an unexpected group: that of South Park. We find the boy band formed by Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Cartman with POP of each member but also a POP Album Deluxe with the cover, the vinyl and the four members of the group.
