The first POPs of House of the Dragon

A few months before the release of the (highly anticipated) HBO series House of the Dragon based on George RR Martin's first novels "A Song of Ice and Fire" scheduled for August 21st, Funko has just unveiled the very first POP figures featuring the characters (and creatures) that we will discover in the first episodes.

A total of 9 House of the Dragon POP figures will be released to launch this set and immerse us in the universe that inevitably reminds us of Game of Thrones. Back on the Funko announcements in details that will "tease" fans eager to see the series, or allow those who have read the books to collect their first characters.

The series takes place 300 years before Game of Thrones and follows the adventures of House Targaryen and especially the difficult ascension of its heir to the Iron Throne...

For this first wave of POP House of the Dragon, we discover the figurines of several members of the Targaryen family: King Viserys, Queen Rhaenyra, Daemon alias the rascal prince and husband of Rhaenyra but also the dragon Syrax that can be counted in House Targaryen!

As for the other characters, we find the POP of Otto Hightower, knight of the Night's Watch and hand of King Viserys as well as two POPs of his daughter Lady Alicent Hightower including an intriguing POP (exclusive SDCC 2022) where the young girl holds a dagger in her hand. Finally, the last popified character is Lord Corlys Velaryon of House Velaryon of Lamarck.

So it's a very nice wave of House of the Dragon POP premieres, and there's no doubt that the coming months will be full of announcements for this set!
