About the Amanda Anisimova #0005 POP! figure
Amanda Anisimova is an American tennis player of Russian origin. Born in 2001, she embodies the new generation of tennis champions. Famous for feats of arms while still very young, notably when she eliminated Kvitova from a tournament at the age of only 16 and also reached the semi-finals of the Roland Garros tournament in France after eliminating Halep!
Amanda Anisimova's career was hit by a tragedy in 2019 when she lost her father who was also her coach, taking the player away from the tennis courts a little while after she had just won her first WTA title at the Bogota tournament a few months earlier?
Funko makes a nice nod to the new generation of tennis with this POP figurine by Amanda Anisimova. We find the young blonde woman with racket and ball in hand, dressed in her black skirt and white cap. The only thing missing is the comma logo of her famous equipment manufacturer on her clothes!
On this POP, Anisimova stands ready to commit her service. She has a ball in the palm of her left hand and will hit the ball while holding the racket in her right hand. Perfect to complete your set of tennis legends with this new figurine!
