POP Inspector Gadget (Inspector Gadget)

Inspector Gadget is the main character of the eponymous animated series. As a police inspector, Gadget's adventures take him on amazing investigations that the policeman often manages to solve in spite of himself!

Friendly character, Inspector Gadget is known to be quite "dumb", confusing the good guys with the bad guys most of the time and not being able to solve the simplest riddles, he often gets into comical situations through repeated blunders.

If he systematically manages to get out of the most delicate situations and to stop the bad guys, it is thanks to two trump cards. The first is his little niece Penny, who solves the riddles and manages to guide his uncle somehow. The second is the panoply of gadgets and technological tools that make the inspector's reputation. Indeed, he is full of gadgets from head to toe: a helicopter coming out of his hat, a water pistol in his gloves, skis or roller skates under his boots or the ability to extend his arm are just a few examples of the many equipment of the Inspector Gadget!

Funko pays homage to the emblematic character with a POP figurine where we find Inspector Gadget in the middle of an investigation, most certainly in the footsteps of his enemy Dr Claw. Easily recognizable, we find the policeman with a very "London" physique, dressed in his long grey raincoat, leather gloves and hat sunken up to his eyes.

The physical features on the POP are obviously those of the character: somewhat rebellious black hair, a long falling nose, wide-open eyes and a slim, slender body.

In a nod to Inspector Gadget, this POP figurine reveals gadgets that we find in the different episodes: the magnifying glass that the inspector holds in his right hand, his elongated arm that we can guess under the sleeve of his coat as well as his imposing shoes full of gadgets.

Inspector Gadget's POP is a great achievement in terms of finishes and details. Funko has pushed precision to the point of representing all the elements of the raincoat: buttons, belts, etc. and represents the inspector in the posture he very often adopts while following a trail: finger pointing at what appears to him to be evidence and whose conclusions are very often the opposite of reality!
