POP Inspector Gadget flying (Inspector Gadget)

An idiot and comic detective, Gadget is the main character in the 80/90s animated series that follows him on adventures in pursuit of Dr. Claw. Between parody of Mission Impossible, comic situations and police intrigues, this series has propelled the character as one of the best known in the world of animation!

Inspector Gadget is a police inspector of English origin (recalled by his dress code), whose main asset is the many technological gadgets that fill his clothes. Indeed, he can for example lengthen his limbs like his neck, arm or legs, deploy helicopter blades from his hat, transform his boots into skis, or even make his fingers appear pen, water gun, fire extinguisher, laser, lamp, etc.

All these gadgets, as well as the precious help of his niece Penny and the dog Brain, are enough to compensate for the "stupidity" of the inspector and caught up with his various gaffes. Because Inspector Gadget's reasoning is often wrong, he still manages to resolve the various investigations to the satisfaction of Chief Constable Quimby.

This Funko POP figurine featuring Inspector Gadget is a nice tribute to the character since it seems to be straight out of the credits where we can see the Inspector flying with the helicopter blades coming out of his hat.

On this POP of Inspector Gadget, we find the policeman holding the two arms of the helicopter to steer it and the red propellers spinning above his head. The figurine is supported on a base because the inspector's legs are in the air and testify to the flight movement.

Funko has of course represented the Inspector Gadget in his usual outfit. He is dressed in his long grey raincoat (where we find the different details of the belt, pockets and buttons) in a very "British" style, his grey hat, his blue pants and his leather gloves from which many gadgets come out.

The inspector's physique is also very faithful to the character: a man with a rather pale face, tousled brown hair, an imposing nose and a slightly empty look! For fans of the series, this POP figure of Inspector Gadget is certainly a must-have collector's item!
