POP The Professor (La Casa de Papel)

The Professor is the mastermind behind the robbery of Casa de Papel. He is the one who sets up the plan of the robbery, recruits the talents, sets the rules and above all supports the group from outside the factory! Central character, he is as intelligent as he is mysterious, and it is only through the episodes of the series that we learn a little more about the man behind the robbery of the century!

The Professor is the code name of Sergio Marquina. Sergio turns out to have rather complex social relationships: he is shy, introverted and seems to have no family or friends. We will learn that the idea for the robbery came to him from his father, himself an ex-robber killed during a robbery.

The Professor will demonstrate all his qualities and talents in the elaboration of the robbery. He is very intelligent, meticulous, far-sighted and has a highly developed sense of observation.

Unlike all the other members of the group, the Professor has no criminal record, seems kinder and more understanding, and appears to be harmless to others. Nevertheless, his natural charisma will make him a leader who is respected and listened to by the whole gang.

Even though he has carefully prepared his plan and his role is to stay away from the robbery to observe, the Teacher will have to get wet when things get out of hand. He'll have to overcome his fear and cross lines he didn't anticipate...

Funko unveiled the first figurine of the Professor in the image of the character. Dressed in his grey suit, blue shirt, arms folded, bright eyes, the Professor seems to be in a position where he calmly watches his plan being perfectly executed!

On the Professor's POP, we recognize the few significant accessories of the look of the Factory Robbery Investigator: dark glasses on the nose, well knotted tie and perfectly dressed suit.
