POP Berlin (Masked) (Chase) (La Casa de Papel)

Berlin is one of the robbers of the Casa de Papel. A natural leader, he is the one who takes command of operations once the robbery has begun and who will establish the link with the Professor who stayed outside the factory.

Berlin is a robber of surprising character. Depending on the situation, he can be obnoxious, misogynistic, unpleasant, eccentric, narcissistic or even self-centred! Although he will impose his authority on the other members of the group, Berlin will nevertheless be little appreciated by his "colleagues" of mischief.

It will be learned that Berlin is a highly sought-after robber, particularly for jewelry store robberies. His real name is Andres de Fonollosa Gonzalves and he turns out to be the Professor's half-brother (a link that the other robbers are unaware of). In addition to this relationship, it was discovered during the robbery that Berlin is in the terminal phase of Helmer's myopathy. This gives him a very dangerous behaviour since he considers himself to have nothing more to lose...

During the robbery, Berlin will demonstrate that it can be very hard, cold and totally lacking in empathy. He will, for example, order the execution of a hostage, beat up one of the robbers who did not follow instructions, and will even go so far as to hand Tokyo over to the police to take revenge for his behaviour .

For this Chase figurine, we find a Berlin conforming perfectly identical to the original figurine in position. The Chase side comes from the fact that Berlin wears the famous Dalí mask worn by all robbers. We can no longer see his face, but simply the features of the mask with Dalí's moustache rising up and the raised eyebrows giving a very strange look to the face .

If it could be the figure of any Casa de Papel robber, it is the POP in Berlin. This one wears his pistol on his shoulder and you can clearly see his watch on his wrist!
