POP Kurapika (Hunter x Hunter)

Kurapika is one of the four main characters of the animated series Hunter x Hunter but also the one and only survivor of the Kuruta clan. A clan whose main characteristic is to have scarlet pupils, which make their eyes a precious treasure. This is the reason why the famous Ghost Brigade massacred this clan.

Kurapika's ultimate goal is to avenge his clan by killing all the members of the Ghost Brigade and recovering all the pupils of his fellow men. By doing so, he will finally be able to mourn his clan. During his quest he will befriend 3 young boys he met during the Hunters' examination: Gon, Killua and Leorio. He will share with them a part of his adventure especially during the examination and will continue on his own side in order to realize his dream.

He is a rather calm young man hiding an unfailing will to take revenge. Nevertheless, Kurapika tends to lose his temper when talking about his clan or the Ghost Brigade, letting his red pupils appear, which is why Kurapika uses contact lenses to hide them.

Kurapika is one of the smartest characters in the manga Hunter x Hunter, with his incredible analytical abilities, he can create sophisticated plans and thwart the plans of his enemies. In addition, he is very comfortable with weapon handling and hand-to-hand combat. Kurapika also masters Nen, which he learned in a short period of time, which remains a feat. He is Materialization, which allows him to create objects from his imagination. Moreover, he is Specialization when his eyes become red and he is thus able to use all the capacities of Nen at 100%, this technique is called "Emperor Time". When he uses Materialization, Kurapika creates chains with his Nen to fight. These chains are connected to each finger of his right hand and each one has a specificity: One of them can heal serious injuries such as a fracture and another one can cause great damage to his enemies. He is also one of the few characters to have succeeded in killing a member of the famous and powerful Ghost Brigade, the others being Hisoka and Silva of the Hunters more than fearsome.
