POP action figure of Ichigo Kurosaki #59

While living a peaceful life, Kurosaki Ichigo, a humble high school student from Karakura, had the ability to see the spirits of the dead. He thought that this power was only due to the fact that he lived with his father and two sisters in a clinic where many people had died.

However, as events unfold, the viewer of Bleach will discover that the origin of his sensitivity to the spirit world was due to other parameters. His ancestry plays a big part in his innate talent.

When Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami from Gotei 13, was almost eaten by a gigantic Hollow she had come to eliminate, she, at the point of death, entrusted her powers to Ichigo who, because he could see spirits, could also see her. By giving her his powers, Ichigo was given the heavy task of using his newly acquired powers to send the souls of the spirits to the other world: the Soul Society.

His mission, therefore, led him to fight many Hollows, those corrupted souls that feed on the spirits of the deceased that he had to preserve. After having hosted Kuchiki Rukia at his home - she was now deprived of her powers which were not hers - he went to her rescue when other Shinigamis came to look for her in order to judge her. It is forbidden for Shinigami to transmit their powers to humans. When she was sentenced to death, Ichigo traveled to the Soul Society with the help of his allies to rescue her.

After this episode, Ichigo had many adventures where the situation was turned upside down. The central figure of Bleach, Kurosaki Ichigo is the character around whom all the intrigues have been built and who has come to the end of each of them. This, without counting the help of his countless allies to whom he owes the fact that he was able to progress so far against the forces of the Arrancars and then the Quincys of the Sternritter that he will face in the final arc.

The Funko POP figure of Kurosaki Ichigo represents him with his Shinigami uniform, as he appears once his spirit has left his body. The Shinigami uniform in question is a black kimono tied at the waist by a white belt. Around his chest, the figure of Ichigo Kurosaki wears a red strap in which he usually stores his Zanpakutô: his famous Shinigami sword.

His Zanpakutô, the Kurosaki Ichiko POP figure is wearing it here on his right hand and seems to rest on it. This sword is indeed particularly thick. It should be noted that this version of Ichigo's Zanpakutô is the one he learns to develop when he reaches the stage of Shikai following the training of Urahara Kisuke.

Finally, it goes without saying that the Funko POP of Ichigo Kurosaki could not be faithful to the character it was meant to represent without him sporting a tuft of orange hair so symptomatic of the character.
