POP Jim Hopper with donut (Chase) (Stranger Things)

Jim Hopper is one of the main characters in Stranger Things. He is the chief of police of the small town of Hawkins and has relatively little work in this town where nothing ever happens. If he is very honest and professional, Hopper shows a certain slackness by being not very assiduous on the schedules, and this since the drama which turned his life upside down.

Indeed, if Jim Hopper is so cold and withdrawn, it is because he has lost interest in life since his little daughter died of cancer. His life then slowly sank: his wife left him while he drowned his sorrow in alcohol and cigarettes...

Chief Hopper is informed of Will Byers' disturbing disappearance as soon as his mother Joyce reports him. He then takes charge of the investigation, initially thinking the boy was a transient runaway. Nevertheless, his experience and his mistrust quickly lead him to suspect something more serious and quickly goes back up the track of Hawkins National Laboratory which seems strangely involved...

Despite all the efforts of Martin Brenner and the lab to cover up the evidence and even create false evidence, Hopper trusts his instincts and agrees to believe Joyce Byers when all would swear she is crazy if she is convinced that her son's body is not the one in the morgue. This trust will allow Hopper to find Will and return him to his mother. It will bring back difficult memories of the loss of her child.

Funko pays tribute to the Chief of Police with this POP Chase figure of Jim Hopper. It shows the uniformed police officer holding a doughnut and a cup of coffee in his hands. This is certainly a bit cliché, but perfectly representative of the character!

The officer's outfit is very detailed on this miniature: we find the Hawkins police badge, the flags sewn on the shoulders, the different pockets and buttons on his shirt, the folds of his pants or the leather belt on which is attached the holster of Hopper's weapon.
