POP Uta (Tokyo Ghoul)

Uta is a ghoul very close to Renji Yomo, Kuzen Yoshimura's right hand man, waiter in the 20th district café "l'Antique" and to Itori Hoito, a ghoul who runs a bar called Helter Skelter in which she shares information about ghouls' news. Uta is the owner of a store where he sells masks, he is the creator of the famous Ken Kaneki mask. He is also a member of the Pierrots, also called Clowns, a small group of powerful ghouls all wearing clown masks, which the GCC inspectors fear. It is not known exactly what their goals are, but they are involved in many important ghoul-related cases. Uta's name as a ghoul is "The Faceless One", a nickname given by the GCC inspectors.

Uta is a rather eccentric ghoul in the way she looks, with her piercings and tattoos, but also in her character. He is an excellent liar and manipulator. He manages to deceive easily his companions of the café l'Antique, making them believe that he is a nice ghoul like them. Nevertheless, we learn later that behind this sweet and generous person hides in reality a ruthless, perverse and deceitful person, capable of hurting others just for fun. He shows his true nature when he is in the company of the other members of the Pierrots, having no feelings for either ghouls or humans, taking pleasure in seeing a person in despair.

Concerning his abilities and powers, he has of course like all ghouls a superhuman speed and power as well as a very good regeneration capacity but he has a special ability that makes him more than formidable. Uta can metamorphose and thus imitate the appearance of others. Moreover, his kagune is a scaly type taking the shape of 6 spider legs allowing him to hit his opponents at long distance. He is also classified as an A rank ghoul.

On this POP figure, Funko shows Uta the famous ghoul mask creator from the Tokyo Ghoul anime series. This POP is faithful to the character we see in the manga, with a slim man with black mid-length hair shaved on the sides. His face is covered by many piercings on the lips, on the arch and on the ears and his body by several tattoos covering almost all his body. He is dressed in a dark color with a black jacket, a dark gray t-shirt and navy blue pants. On this figure, Uta is crouching, holding a tape measure, ready to take the measurements of his future clients' faces in order to make them a beautiful mask.
