POP Demogorgon closed face (Chase) (Stranger Things)

Demogorgon, the name given by Mike, Lucas and Dustin, is the monster at the heart of the plot of the first season of Stranger Things. This predator, which evolves in the upside-down world, manages to create breaches with the real world and, thirsty for blood, comes to capture its prey. At the beginning, nothing is known about Demogorgon: neither its physical representation, nor its origins, nor its intentions. We begin to understand that Eleven was the first person to come into contact with it during the experiments carried out in Hawkins National Laboratory, and that it was during one of these experiments that the girl opened a portal between the upside down world and the real world, allowing the monster to enter ours?

Once its identity is "revealed", Demogorgon is pursued by different groups. There are of course the soldiers in the laboratory who try to cover up the affair as quickly as possible, but also police chief Hopper accompanied by Will's mother who want to find the boy before it's too late, or Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers who try to trap the Demogorgon by luring him with blood?

If the first appearances of the predator are stealthy, the end of season 1 of Stranger Things gives the monster the upper hand with various fights that gave us time to admire the repulsive physique of the monster as Funko took it for this POP figure of the Demogorgon.

We thus find an exceptional figurine, in Chase version, where the monster has a closed mouth. We can still guess the small teeth on the five petals that make up its head but the fact that they are closed gives the monster an even more human appearance.

We can see its skeletal and rather large physique, its hooked fingers and the brownish-beige colour of the monster. The rendering is very successful and makes this POP one of the "must have" for Stranger Things fans who will want to collect the predator from the first season.
