Born on Krypton, real name Kal-El, Superman was sent to Earth by his parents before the destruction of his planet with the destiny to continue to sustain his civilization and put his gifts to the service of others on Earth.

Gathered by the Kents in the small town of Smallville, Kansas, Kal-El becomes Clark Kent and tries to lead a normal life. The secret of his origins being preciously kept by his adoptive parents, he grows up as a "near-normal" teenager although he is able to run faster than a train, lift a tractor with one hand or put out a fire with his breath!

Little by little, Clark Kent tries to understand his origins and takes off by becoming a journalist for the Daily Planet in Metropolis. It is from this moment that he truly becomes Superman, donning a superhero outfit to protect his anonymity and putting his powers to good use.

He faces many threats, from Lex Luthor to Doomsday, and becomes a pillar of the Justice League alongside Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lanter, Flash, Green Arrow and many other superheroes from the DC Universe.
