POP Peter (Family Guy)

Peter Griffin is the main character of the Griffin series, known as the Family Guy in the United States. Peter Griffin is the "Family Guy", that is to say, this irresponsible family man. Only, where Homer Simpson knew how to temper himself and ended up being ashamed when he went too far, the notion of "too far" seems to escape Peter! This one is indeed a husband as ungrateful as he is an unworthy father. Stupid to the point of tears, he is distinguished by his silly laugh and childish temperament. In a way, Peter Griffin is an innocent child in the body of a forty-year-old who knows no limits. He is rarely seen at work and every time he is at his place of employment is an opportunity to highlight his obvious and shameless incompetence.

His time is usually spent drinking at the "Clam", a bar where he meets with his friends Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe. The topics of conversation there are usually lowbrow or even shocking and they always end up going off on absurd projects that will only bring chaos to their lives and the lives of those around them.

Peter is not only a figuratively absent father - since he never takes care of his children - but a horrible father. He has made a habit of mocking and humiliating his eldest daughter, a behavior imitated by everyone in his family and his circle.

With Peter Griffin, behind the children's laughter and the apparently funny jokes, we find a dark humor that he resorts to without ever realizing the harm he is doing around him. Burlesque and frankly stupid, he is a character to whom we easily get attached, even though stepping back from him leads us to consider that he is simply horrible in human terms, which only makes his gags funnier.

Because of its particular morphology, the Peter Griffin POP figure does not have the same head shape as all the other Funko POP figures. Indeed, respecting faithfully the proportions of his face in Family Guy, Peter Griffin is represented with his small skull, his glasses, his silly smile and his double (triple?) chin.

It goes without saying that to perfectly represent the character, the Peter Griffin POP figure is obviously paunchy, wearing his usual white shirt with his distinctive green pants. All in all, the Peter Griffin POP figure, from head to toe, looks exactly like his appearance in the show; enough to make you want to buy a figure of this funny and cruel character.
