POP The Beast (Flocked) (Beauty and The Beast)

The Beast is the hero of the movie Beauty and the Beast adapted from the Disney cartoon. The story is inspired by a classic tale from the eighteenth century. Originally, the Beast is a young prince who lives in a sumptuous castle with his servants. One winter's evening, he hunts an old lady who wanted shelter in exchange for a rose. To punish him for his arrogance and selfishness, the old lady turns him into a monstrous creature and casts a spell on his castle and its occupants. The curse will only be lifted if the Beast manages to love and be loved by a woman with her monster appearance. Years later, a beautiful and intelligent young woman called Beauty offers to be a servant at the castle if the Beast agrees to let her father Maurice, imprisoned for trespassing, go. The Beast accepts, frees Maurice and sends him to the village without even letting his daughter kiss him goodbye.

With the arrival of this young woman, hope grows among the servants of the castle, seeing in Belle the possibility of lifting the curse and regaining their human form. They then advise the Beast who is learning to become a gentleman. After a difficult beginning and a rather distant attitude from the Beast, a complicity is established between the two characters. They even discover a common passion: reading, and the Beast takes Belle to the great library of the castle, offering her all the books she wants. Little by little, Belle falls in love with the person under the appearance of the Beast and breaks the spell.

In the Disney cartoon, the Beast has the appearance of a monster, he has the body of a bear, pointed teeth, a head, buffalo horns with a lion's mane and finally wolf paws. Of his human life, he only keeps his eyes which are blue. His appearance contrasts with his elegance on the clothing side as he wears pretty princely costumes.
