POP Belle with birds (Beauty and The Beast)

Belle is the heroine of the cartoon Beauty and the Beast, a great Disney classic released in 1991. The cartoon is loosely based on the eponymous tale from the eighteenth century. The story tells the story of the meeting of Belle, an intelligent young woman with a passion for reading, and the Beast, an arrogant prince magically transformed into a monstrous creature. On a stormy night, an old lady asks the young prince to offer her shelter in exchange for a rose. The young prince is disgusted by the old lady's appearance, sneers at her and chases her away.

To punish this arrogant young prince, the old beggar woman casts a spell on him, turning him into a horrible monster. She also casts a spell on the whole castle and all its inhabitants, the servants of the prince. Thus, the prince becomes the Beast and to break the spell, he will have to fall in love with a person and make himself loved by that person despite his hideous appearance. The rose offered by the old lady is a magic rose, the Beast must break the spell before the last petal falls if he wants to regain his princely appearance.

A few years later, Belle arrives at the castle and accepts to be a prisoner in place of her father Maurice who is locked up by the Beast for having entered the castle without authorization. Belle becomes the Beast's servant forever to free her father. Lumière and Big Ben point out to her that Belle represented the opportunity to break the curse.

The Beast tries to get closer to Belle, but his impulsive character repels Belle who refuses any contact. When Belle enters the forbidden room where the magic rose is located, the Beast screams in anger and Belle runs away, frightened. She is attacked by a pack of wolves, but the Beast comes to save her and is injured in the attack. Belle heals him and the two of them start to get closer.
