POP Belle (Beauty and The Beast)

Belle is the heroine of the Disney studios' cartoon, released in 1991. The story is loosely based on the eponymous tale of the meeting between Belle, a young woman with a passion for reading, and the Beast, a monster living in a castle. According to the tale, the Beast was once a young prince, handsome but selfish, who was turned into a monster by an old beggar woman to whom he refused hospitality. This old lady is actually an enchanting creature and to punish the prince, she puts a curse on him and turns him into a monster. She also casts a spell on the castle and on all its occupants who take the form of various objects. To lift the curse, the Beast must learn to love and be loved in return despite his monstrous appearance. When Maurice's father is locked in the dungeon by the Beast for entering the castle without authorization, Belle offers to take his place to free his father.

Belle is a beautiful young woman, full of joie de vivre and in love with literature, always with a book in her hands. She lives with her father in a charming French village. She is always on the lookout for new discoveries and spends her time at the bookstore to find new adventures to read. At the beginning of the film, we see her walking around her village, singing with her blue dress and her pretty, slightly wavy brown hair, tied in a ponytail with a knot.

In this new Pop version of Belle, Funko represents the heroine as she is in the Disney cartoon version. We recognize the pretty ball gown she wears in the cartoon during her dinner with the Beast. This dress is composed of several layers with a white petticoat, we find the sleeves falling on the shoulders.

Belle holds one of the ends of the dress, it creates an effect of movement and allows to discover the layers of white petticoats. She wears yellow gloves and pretty matching earrings. Finally, her hair is tied up with a pretty yellow bow, matching her outfit. Her hair falls on her back and gives a movement effect to the figurine.
