POP Young Moana (Moana)

Moana is the central character of the cartoon Moana, the legend from the end of the world, released from the Disney studios in 2016. The story is inspired by a Polynesian legend according to which the goddess Te Fiti is at the origin of the creation of the islands. Her heart of jade stone has the power to create life. Moana, daughter of Tui, chief of the Motunui tribe, is destined to become a chief when she grows up. When she was just a baby, she found a jade stone. The waves take the shape of a hand greeting her, the water retreats and Moana walks and discovers underwater life through the water but her father Tui comes and takes her away from the water. The wave then carries away the stone that disappears.

A few years later, the island is in danger: the coconuts die and the fish disappear from the ocean. Moana then decides to go beyond the reef despite her father's prohibition in the hope of finding a solution to help her tribe. She is caught by the current and crashes on the beaches of Motunui. Tala, Moana's grandmother, then reveals to her the existence of a secret cave that hides many boats: in the past, the inhabitants of the island were great travellers. The grandmother explains that it is the evil power of Te Ka that is poisoning the island and that Te Fiti's heart must be restored to make it all stop.

She then gives the jade stone that Moana had found as a baby and explains that she was chosen by the ocean to accomplish this mission. Soon after, Tala fell ill and told her little girl to begin her journey. Moana then decides to go in search of the demigod Maui and together they will restore Te Fiti's heart to bring life back to the island. During this perilous journey, they will be accompanied by Pua, the pink pig, and Hei Hei, the rooster.

Funko Pop! depicts Moana baby in the scene where she finds the stone on the beach. She wears a pretty little pink flower in her hair, her big eyes and her eyelashes make her look too adorable. She is sitting down with both hands on the floor between her legs. Around her neck, there is a small shell necklace that reminds us of Polynesian traditions. She is wearing a layer of fabric with shell-shaped patterns. Her skin is brown as in the cartoon and her hair is black and short.
