The Loch Ness monster, popularly called Nessie, is an underwater creature that lives in the Loch Ness Lake in the north of Scotland. At the centre of the craziest intrigues, Nessie has fascinated the world since the revelation of its existence. Although the origin of its existence is unclear, the Loch Ness monster has since attracted crowds of curious people, most of whom swear to have seen it while walking along the lake!

The Loch Ness monster looks like a long sea serpent, and it is precisely its imposing shape that creates confusion among those who are certain to have seen the animal pass underwater. The myth has even prompted scientists to organize expeditions to probe the lake to confirm whether or not the Loch Ness Monster really exists.

This lake, located in the High Lands in Scotland is the second largest lake in Scotland, providing an incredible playground for Nessie. It is itself at the centre of a legend which tells that it used to be a beautiful valley with a magical spring of water. A stone closed the well, and the instruction was always to make sure the stone was put back in place. One man's carelessness caused water to gush out of this spring, flooding the valley and creating Loch Ness Lake!
