POP Steve Trevor (Wonder Woman)

Steve Trevor is a British soldier, a spy sent behind enemy lines to gather valuable intelligence. We are in the midst of the First World War, which has already claimed millions of lives. Germany is about to surrender, but a German General is determined to destroy Europe rather than surrender...

To stop him, Steve Trevor went on a reconnaissance mission to a German laboratory where General Ludendorff had Dr. Meru design a new mustard gas called "Doctor Poison". When he witnesses the effects of the gas, Trevor is devastated and cannot help but steal Dr. Meru's notebook containing the chemical formula. He fled in an airplane, pursued by the Germans who managed to shoot the plane down.

Steve Trevor crashes in the open sea near a paradise island where the Amazons live. Spotted by Diana, who saves his life, Trevor tells the Amazons that the world is the scene of a terrible conflict.

Convinced that this is the work of the god of war Ares, Diana decides to go to the front to fight him and stop the war. Equipped with her lasso, shield and sword, Diana becomes Wonder Woman and assists Trevor in his mission.

Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor both fall madly in love but the war will not leave them any respite to live this love story since Trevor will sacrifice himself by borrowing a plane loaded with bombs and by voluntarily exploding it far from the populations...

Wonder Woman doesn't recover from this sacrifice, but it gives her back her confidence in mankind and gives her the energy to defeat Ares and end World War I.
