POP Obelix (Asterix)

Obelix is Asterix's companion. Also born in the Gaulish village, he accompanies Asterix in each of their adventures. Although their characters are very different, they are bound by a very fraternal friendship. Moreover, in a nod to the two characters, the author of the comic strip Uderzo will reveal that Asterix and Obelix were born on the same day and at the same time!

Obelix is a rather corpulent menhir tailor. He has a very good appetite which often earns him the taunting of other Gauls, since his hunger often overwhelms him. Luckily for him, the mockery of his comrades is quickly put to rest by his extraordinary strength.

Indeed, Obelix is a somewhat peculiar Gaul. As a child, he fell into the pot of magic potion, giving him the effects of the potion permanently. Thus, Obelix is endowed with a superhuman strength that will allow him to get out of many comical situations in the face of Julius Caesar's Romans!

Obelix's POP figure is faithful to the character's features in the comic book. Physically, the figurine takes up Obelix's physiognomy: a "coated" Gaul with long red hair and a somewhat sheepish look. Funko also chose to represent him with his arms folded, which reminds us of Obelix's sulky character, especially when someone has the misfortune to make a remark about his weight...

As for her outfit, Obelic wears her white and blue striped trousers, her green belt, braids and her helmet to protect herself if the sky were to fall on her head!
