POP Bruce Wayne (The Batman)

Bruce Wayne aka Batman is the vigilante who watches over Gotham City. He returns in The Batman movie after two years since Bruce took on the role of Batman. Still searching for his role in society and the best way to save Gotham from the mob, he fights crime daily with one goal: to reverse the fear.

In The Batman, Bruce is relatively young. Still very marked by the death of his parents and the legacy they left him, it is an increasingly dark and antisocial Bruce Wayne that we discover in The Batman. But also an intelligent young man, ready to lead a meticulous investigation to unmask The Riddler, the serial killer who has fun to sow enigmas with each corpse he leaves behind...

For this POP from The Batman, Funko chose to represent the vigilante in his "civilian" outfit. While Bruce Wayne rarely appears in public, he decides to make an appearance at the funeral of Mayor Mitchell (victim of the Riddler), convinced that the serial killer in search of glory will attend the ceremony. This is the scene from which the POP figure of Bruce Wayne wearing a suit and tie and a raincoat is taken. A rather "classic" look for the young billionaire who will blend in with the wealthy citizens of Gotham who attend the funeral, just like the Penguin who is also wearing his suit.

Bruce Wayne's POP in The Batman is also an opportunity for Funko to unveil a Batman in the guise of actor Robert Pattinson who plays him in the film. With his slimmed down face, his half-long hair and his rather naive look, the Bruce Wayne figurine perfectly reminds the acting of this "new" Batman.

Finally, we can imagine from Bruce Wayne's attitude on this POP that it is exactly taken from the scene where the young man crosses the path of the mafia godfather Carmine Falcone and the latter reminds him that his father, Thomas Wayne, was a doctor and saved the mobster's life by operating on him several years ago. This makes Bruce squeal and clench his fists as if he wants to fight with the one who pulls the strings of Gotham City's crime...
