POP Kurapika (Hunter x Hunter)

Kurapika, in the way he presents himself, is this calm and tempered young man, appreciated by most of his contemporaries for his poise and uprightness. He is a figure of wisdom as well as a man of confidence which will lead him to become one of Gon's friends with Killua and Leorio at the end of the 287th session of the Hunter exam. But behind this pleasant facade lies a gaping wound that will only heal once Kurapika has satisfied his revenge.

Coming from a small clan in the forest, they lived in autarky from the modern world. Their existence, however, was well known to many explorers. They knew that this Kuruta clan had a peculiarity. It was said that when a member of the Kuruta clan became angry, his pupils would turn scarlet like the most beautiful jewel. If they were to die in this state, then their eyes, in death, would remain in this state.

Precisely because there are macabre collectors, the price of these pupils was very high. So the Ghost Brigade, a group of notoriously dangerous killers and thieves, massacred the Kuruta clan to remove the eyes of each of their victims and sell them. From there, Kurapika vowed to get all the eyes of his clan and eliminate every last member of the Ghost Brigade.

During the events of York Shin City, Kurapika managed to isolate Uvoguine, the most physically powerful member of the Phantom Brigade, and confront him in the Sahelta Desert. During this fight, Kurapika demonstrated the extent of his power. A power that the Hatsu on which it was based was only turned against the Brigade for its offensive capabilities. Trapped, Uvoguine was then killed by refusing to give any information about his comrades. Afterwards, Kurapika managed to block Kuroro's Nen for some time before embarking on a journey to the dark continent as one of the passengers took with him most of the eyes of the Kuruta clan.

Also, the Funko POP figure of Kurapika with his scarlet eyes represents him as he was during his fight against Uvoguine. Stripped of his classic blue tunic, wearing only a beige and light green combat uniform, the Kurapika figure with his scarlet eyes naturally represents him in a strictly martial position.

Indeed, on his right hand, the POP figure of Kurapika with his scarlet eyes shows his Holy Chain, one of the five chains of his Hatsu that allowed him to heal his broken arm in a few seconds during his fight against Uvoguine. The red of his left earring is only equal to the red of his eyes, while the FUNKO POP of Kurapika represents him with his scarlet pupils. Kurapika, in fact, can create this state without getting angry, even if we can guess the obvious anger that animated him when he faced one of those who had eliminated his clan.
