POP Billy & Karen (SDCC) (Stranger Things)

Billy Hargrove and Karen Wheeler are two recurring characters in Netflix's Stranger Things series, often at the center of the plots and strange phenomena that descend upon the small town of Hawkins.

Billy appears in the 2nd season when his father, who has rebuilt his life with a new wife, moves to Hawkins. Billy is violent and nasty, he does not seek to integrate with the others at the high school and maintains conflictual relations with many other characters starting with his half sister Max, or with Steve who is known to be one of the most popular boys of the high school .

Karen and the mother of Mike and Nancy. She appears as a character quite disconnected from reality and trying to move forward in her life in spite of children who grow up and become more and more emancipated and a husband who on the contrary becomes less and less interested and present.

For this duo pack exclusive to the SDCC, Funko makes a nod to one of the most comical scenes of season 2 of Stranger Things. While Billy is looking for Max, he goes to the Wheeler's to find her. It is Karen who opens the door for him as soon as she gets out of the bath and the two characters enter into a hilarious flirtation. Billy tries to get as much information as possible by playing with his looks while Karen, under his spell, is largely seduced by the young man.

We find Billy, ready to go out since he had a date before he had to leave in search of his half-sister. He is wearing blue jeans, an open burgundy shirt that reveals his torso, his jacket and a pair of white sneakers. Funko did not leave out any details with the young man's jewelry: necklace, earrings, etc. Finally, he holds a cookie offered by Karen in his hand, reminding us of the explicit way he bites into the cookie while trying to get information from Karen!

Karen's pop figurine represents Karen in her bathrobe as she relaxes in her bathtub when Billy comes ringing the Wheeler doorbell. Charmed by Billy and his smooth talker, Karen has red cheeks and tends to let her cleavage show. We find on the pop her voluminous brushing and her coquetry with the details of the nail polish in particular.
