The first Funko POP Star Wars Retro Series

The Star Wars license never stops inspiring Funko who has just unveiled a brand new line of POPs featuring the characters of the galaxy. This series called "Retro Series" will have a real nostalgic effect on the fans since it takes the effects of the first artistic jets made by Ralph McQuarrie when George Lucas was working on the films.

The colors used, the lines, the gradient effects, etc. remind the artists' drawings, in a comic book style that fits perfectly with the Star Wars universe. Funko has revealed 4 first POPs for this line, but it is sure that they are only the beginning of a very long series!

The 4 characters in the Star Wars Retro Series POP are naturally heavyweights of the license. We find Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper and the inevitable C-3PO.
