This is the 9th of 12 Civil War Assemble POP figures, recreating the impressive battle between Marvel's superheroes. For this new POP, it's Spider-Man's turn to take center stage, alongside Black Widow.
Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, is a rather naive young superhero in the MCU. Spurred on by Tony Stark, he intends to take his place alongside the other superheroes and use his powers to defend Earth from the threat of Thanos. In Civil War, Spider-Man naturally sides with his mentor when the Avengers split up. So he's on Team Iron Man, up against Captain America!
It's in Captain America Civil War that Spider-Man makes his entry into the MCU, and Funko has succeeded perfectly in transcribing the young hero's will in a POP that reproduces Spider-Man's movement. Indeed, on this new POP, Spider-Man is shown in full leap, his wrist outstretched to stretch his web. With this movement effect, the set seems to come alive and the great battle begins.
