Of course the surprise is not really a surprise since Funko has unveiled in the last few days the Donatello and Michelangelo POP Art Series. So here is the POP of the third Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Raphael!

Named after the Renaissance painter, Raphael (also called Raph by his brothers) is the red mutant turtle. More aggressive and rebellious than his brothers, Raph is also known to be particularly stubborn (and sometimes vulgar...). Often in contradiction with Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo, Rapahël has nevertheless a good background and is of a precious help when it is necessary to launch out in the fight, in particular because he handles like a master his two saïs, traditional weapons which come from the martial arts of Okinawa.

As with the first two POPs in this art set, Raphael's POP Art Series is no exception: a colorful figure with a very codified style. Raphael is almost entirely green (a more fluorescent green than usual), he wears his red headband and his two saïs are also entirely red. Finally, the POP figure is covered with motifs: Raphael's head which is repeated 5 or 6 times, but also the words Pizza and Cowabunga which we know are dear to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
