Nissin instant noodles come to POP with Hello Kitty

It's a cross between two elements of "kawaii" culture: instant noodles AND the iconic Hello Kitty. The result? More than kawaii" POPs featuring Hello Kitty with her jar of noodles bearing the Nissin brand's effigy.

Nissin is not only a brand of instant noodles, it's THE brand that propelled this fast and cheap dish when Japan was coming out of the war. Indeed, its founder, Momofuku Ando, is the man who developed a recipe allowing a fast cooking of noodles and reinventing for the occasion the famous Japanese ramen...

It is thus a "crossover" full of sense that Funko proposes to us by combining Hello Kitty to Nissin. In total, there are 4 POPs that make a nice nod to a whole part of Japanese culture:

• Hello Kitty on her bike, with a noodle cup in the basket ;
• Hello Kitty with his noodle cup and a fork ;
• Hello Kitty in a Nissin noodle cup ;
