Funko continues to exploit the Mattel toy license based on the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) animated series and has just unveiled an onslaught of 12 new POP figures featuring the characters.
The story of MOTU takes place on the planet Eternia where King Randor has imprisoned his brother Keldor, now Skeletor. Once free, Skeletor thinks only of taking revenge on Randor and attacks the Castle of Shadows. The latter is protected by the witch and by He-Man and his companions, but will it be enough to repel Skeletor?
Funko takes us back to childhood with these Masters of the Universe POPs that complete the POP! Retro Toys line, reminiscent of the many vintage figures offered by Mattel. For this new wave, Funko has unveiled figures featuring various characters: Clamp Champ (#84), Turbor (#85), Evil-Lyn (#86), Horde Trooper (#87), Mer-Man (#88), Leech (#89). Mer-Man in Blue (#91) and Snake Man-at-Arms (#92).
Also among the announcements are three special POPs: the Supersized 25cm of Dentos (#90), the POP Rides of Skeletor riding the Night Stalker (#278) and finally the POP Town of Skeletor in front of the Snake Mountain!
