Funko unveils POPs from the Invincible animated series

The series was released as early as 2021 on Amazon Prime Videos, but Funko is only now getting to grips with the phenomenon. Fortunately, the first wave of POPs from Invincible lives up to the series' hype, with no fewer than 6 figures.

Building on its success, the series has a second season (forbidden to under 18s!) which also promises some great future announcements, since these first POPs are taken from the first season for the time being.

Invincible figures in a flurry

The announcement focuses on the two main protagonists (Mark and his father), but Funko has some nice surprises in store for us. Here's the complete line-up:

• 2 POPs of Invincible featuring Mark without his superhero costume, with a classic version and a "Bloody" version where the young man's costume is partly destroyed... ;
• 2 POPs of Omni-Man - the world's strongest superhero - shown flying. Here again, Funko has produced two versions: classic and Bloody;
• 1 POP of Atom Eve, Samantha Eve Wilkins in her superhero costume, Mark's ally.

Last but not least, Funko unveiled a POP Moment of the final battle between Omni-Man and Invincible, taken from the scene in which the two superheroes engage in an epic battle and both end up particularly battered. Funko didn't skimp on the blood!

It's a shame that Funko didn't take a closer look at the series' "villains" (despite the Omni-Man revelations), but perhaps that's in store for the future... To be continued!

A captivating animated series

Based on the comic book of the same name created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, the animated series is broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

In addition to its captivating plot, "Invincible" is praised for its fluid animation and spectacular action sequences. The fight scenes are intensely choreographed and visually impressive, providing viewers with moments of pure adrenaline while heightening the suspense and stakes of the story.
