Funko has announced eight One Punch Man releases for October 2026. The lineup includes two Saitamas, Genos, Sonic, two Tatsumakis including an exclusive glow-in-the-dark version, and most importantly, the first Garou in the range, complete with a one-in-six Chase.
A wave arriving in the middle of the season 3 break
Season 3 of the anime aired its first part between October and December 2025, covering the Monster Association arc. Part 2, which is expected to continue through chapter 117 of the manga, will not arrive before 2027.
Funko is therefore releasing its wave right in the middle of that wait, at a point when Garou has become the character everyone is talking about. It is a smart move: the license had not received a full wave in years, while older figures, including the original Terrible Tornado, have long since been vaulted.
Garou – POP #2529, with a Chase
The Hero Hunter had never had a POP in the main range. That has now been corrected, and Funko has even chosen to make him the only figure in the wave with a Chase variant.
The character is particularly well suited to the concept. A former disciple of Bang, Garou spends the entire Monster Association arc gradually transforming, both physically and morally. A character with two sides is exactly the kind of subject that works well for a Chase. Funko has not yet revealed what distinguishes the rare version, but the character itself gives a fairly good idea of the direction they may take.
There is a one-in-six chance of getting the Chase, while the standard version is priced at around €15.99. No French retailer is currently listing the Chase separately.
Two Tatsumakis, including a Funko Shop exclusive Glow version
- Terrible Tornado – POP #2528: the S-Class Rank 2 esper and the most powerful telekinetic in the series, starting at €14.11.
- Terrible Tornado (Glow) – POP #2532: the same character in a glow-in-the-dark version, exclusive to the Funko Shop.
The glow-in-the-dark treatment makes perfect sense here. Tatsumaki’s power is visually represented by a green telekinetic aura, and this is exactly the type of detail that benefits from a luminous effect rather than ordinary paint. On many POPs, glow effects are purely decorative. On this one, they actually represent the character’s ability.
This version still has no price listed by French retailers, as you would expect from an exclusive.
Two Saitamas in the same wave
- Saitama – POP #2526: the standard version, starting at €14.11.
- Saitama – POP #2531: a second release with a different Funko reference, still missing from the official catalogue and with no French retail price listed.
This second Saitama is the big question mark of the wave. Two figures of the same character in one series, with only one listed by Funko, is the classic pattern of a retailer exclusive or Special Edition variant. One to keep an eye on, because this is exactly the kind of figure that can become difficult to find three months after release.
Genos and Speed-O'-Sound Sonic complete the lineup
- Genos – POP #2527: the S-Class cyborg and self-proclaimed disciple of Saitama, starting at €14.11.
- Speed-O'-Sound Sonic – POP #2530: the ninja who has spent the entire series declaring himself Saitama’s rival and losing every time, starting at €14.11.
Two unsurprising releases, but necessary ones: together they complete the core group of characters any One Punch Man collector would expect to have on their shelf.
A wave that brings the license up to date
Eight releases, one Chase, one exclusive Glow and an additional Saitama that is still something of a mystery: Funko is finally treating One Punch Man as a core license rather than a secondary range. The lineup covers the major characters without repeating the vaulted collection.
Garou and his Chase are naturally the top priority, followed by the Tatsumaki Glow for collectors chasing Funko Shop exclusives. Pre-orders are open, with release scheduled for October 2026, one year before the anime returns.
