The anime Thousand-Year Blood War is airing its very last episodes this month. Funko has timed its wave to follow right behind: six figures announced for October 2026, featuring a half-Hollowfied Ichigo, two captains at the height of their power, a glow-in-the-dark Premium Yoruichi and, above all, the Yhwach figure that could not have been released before the finale.
A wave timed with the end of the anime
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has been airing its fourth and final part, The Calamity, since July 25, 2026. Ten episodes, with the final one scheduled for September 26, bringing the adaptation of one of the most anticipated arcs in shōnen history to a definitive close.
Funko has clearly synchronized its wave with that schedule. All six figures are due in October, just a few weeks after the finale, at a point when the entire community will have seen the final transformations. That explains the character selection, which would have been impossible to announce two years ago without spoiling half the arc.
Half-Hollowfied Ichigo – POP #2575
The half-Hollow mask has been one of Bleach’s signature visuals since the Soul Society arc, and Funko has made it the opening piece of the wave.
It is also one of the most instantly readable versions of the character: half of his face covered by the white-and-red mask, the other half still Ichigo. The entire Shinigami-Hollow duality is captured in a 10 cm sculpt. Expect to pay around €14 on pre-order.
Hitsugaya and Kenpachi, two captains at full power
- Absolute Bankai Hitsugaya – POP #2576: Tōshirō Hitsugaya with his fully matured bankai, the form that gives him an adult appearance and covers his body in ice. One of the arc’s most talked-about reveals, because in a single scene it resolves the long-running joke about the youngest captain in the Gotei 13.
- Kenpachi Zaraki – POP #2577: the captain of the 11th Division, whose bankai was finally revealed in Thousand-Year Blood War after hundreds of chapters of him refusing to use one. Funko had already released Kenpachi figures in the past, but never from this period of the series.
Both figures sit in roughly the same price range, around €14 to €17.
Jugram Haschwalth – POP #2578
This is the surprise of the wave. The Sternritter Grandmaster, Yhwach’s right-hand man and bearer of “B – The Balance”, had never had a POP figure before.
Haschwalth is not a mainstream character, but he is central to the final part of the arc, and his duel with Uryū Ishida is one of the most discussed moments in the story. Releasing him as a standard figure rather than a convention exclusive sends a clear message: Funko now sees Bleach as a core license rather than an occasional side range.
Yoruichi Shihōin Glow in the Dark – POP #2579
The only Premium figure in the wave, and the only one priced above €14. Yoruichi arrives in a glow-in-the-dark version, listed at around €18 to €21 depending on the retailer, and stands approximately 11 cm tall.
The glow-in-the-dark effect is not just decorative here. Yoruichi’s Shunkō is based on an aura of lightning that surrounds her entire body, making this exactly the kind of technique that benefits from a luminous finish. On this type of figure, glow effects work best when they reflect the character’s actual abilities, and that is clearly the case here.
Yhwach (Post-Soul King Absorption) – POP #2580
The figure that gives the whole wave its meaning. Yhwach after absorbing the Soul King represents the culmination of more than twenty years of manga: the Quincy becoming the new foundation of the world, with the power to see and rewrite every possible future.
Funko could not have released this figure before the anime reached that point. It is therefore arriving at exactly the right time, and it is the only figure in the wave for which no French retailer is currently displaying a price. A fairly clear sign of what availability may look like.
The most cohesive wave in the license
Six figures, six recognizable moments from the final part of the arc, and no repetition of previous waves. Funko avoided the trap of releasing yet another generic Ichigo and instead built a series that tells the end of Thousand-Year Blood War in sequence.
For Bleach collectors, Haschwalth and Yhwach are the two to secure first: the former because he had never been released before, the latter because there is still no retail price listed. Pre-orders are open, with release scheduled for October 2026.
