Attack on Titan: Funko Cuts Its Figures in Half

Four new POP figures have been announced for November 2026, and they are literally split in two: one human half, one Titan half, on the same figure. Eren, Reiner, Annie and Zeke are all getting “Split” versions, starting at around €14.

The concept: one figure, two halves

Funko’s catalogue names these releases in pairs: Pop! Eren Jaeger / Attack Titan, Pop! Reiner Braun / Armored Titan, Pop! Zeke Jaeger / Beast Titan, Pop! Annie Leonhart / Female Titan. This is not just a stylish way of naming the characters, but an exact description of the product: each figure shows the human on one side and their Titan form on the other.

The official description is identical across all four figures, and opens with the fitting line: “Give your heart in defense of humanity”, echoing the Survey Corps’ famous “Dedicate your hearts!” motto. It then follows with the sentence that sums up the entire concept: “Both sides of this soldier are prepared to face any opponent.”

They come in the standard format, measuring between 9.9 and 10.2 cm depending on the figure, with a Funko retail price of $14.99 and French retailer prices ranging from €14.39 to €15.99. No exclusives and no Chase variants.

Four characters chosen for what they represent

Funko therefore did not simply choose the most popular characters, but the four Titan shifters whose dual nature helps define the story. Levi and Mikasa may top nearly every popularity poll, but they would have had no place in this particular range.

A concept that would not have worked as well elsewhere

Funko has already released double-sided figures for other franchises, often with results that felt mostly decorative. With Attack on Titan, the concept actually fits the source material.

The entire series is built around characters who are both victims and monsters, soldiers and weapons. Splitting a figure in two is not just a sculpting gimmick here: it is probably the most honest way to represent a Titan shifter. The product actually says something about the story, which is rare for licensed merchandise.

A franchise entering its legacy phase

The anime ended in November 2023, while Hajime Isayama’s manga concluded in 2021. Since then, Kodansha has kept the franchise alive more through events and new projects than through additional episodes.

The most visible example at the moment is the Attack on Titan – Beyond the Walls concert tour, combining a symphony orchestra, a rock section and projections of scenes from the anime. After dates in France in autumn 2025, the tour moved to the United States between late February and late March 2026. There have also been stage musicals in Japan and New York, along with several video game projects.

This Funko wave fits perfectly into that strategy: it is not tied to an ongoing season, but keeps a completed series alive by exploring a concept that previous waves had never used.

The most relevant wave in the license

Four releases, a concept that actually works, no exclusivity complications and a standard price point. This is the kind of series that makes more sense as a complete set, because the visual effect really comes together when all four Titan shifters are lined up side by side.

One question remains: will Funko stop there? Ymir, Porco Galliard or Pieck would all be natural candidates if the Split range expands. Pre-orders are open, with release scheduled for November 2026.
